The finalists for the 2020 Broadband Compare Awards have been announced, and Farmside is a finalist in three categories – Best Rural Service Provider, Best Wireless Service Provider and Best Customer Support.
Jason Sharp, General Manager of Farmside backed by One NZ, says the team are elated. “Our Timaru based team work incredibly hard to deliver connectivity and exceptional service to rural New Zealanders, and it’s wonderful for this to be acknowledged.”
Farmside won ‘Best Rural Service Provider’ and ‘Best Wireless Provider’ in 2019 – winning in two out of three categories entered in the awards.
Sharp adds: “We were immensely proud to take home two awards last year, and with a record number of entries for this year’s event, we hope to retain those titles and add a new one.
“It’s been a challenging but rewarding year. To say I’m proud of how the team responded to Covid-19 would be an understatement. The service levels maintained while our team worked from home was a testament to our people, and it’s fantastic that their dedication to serving rural New Zealand has been recognised on a national scale.”
Winners of the Broadband Compare Awards will be announced at a gala awards event taking place at the Maritime Room in Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour on Friday 16th October.
