What can I expect my first bill to look like?

Part month charge: The part month charge applies from the date your service was activated up until the date your billing cycle starts.

Month in advance charge: Your first full month of service which is billed in advance.

Example: Your service is activated on 8th June and the normal billing cycle starts from the 1st of each month.

You may also see any installation, modem and/or connection fees.

What services does Farmside bill in advance for?

Fixed charges are billed in advance as they are recurring, such as your plan charge. Usage based charges are billed retrospectively and are paid in arrears as often they are one-off charges such as phone calls and additional data.

When can I expect to receive my monthly bill?

You will receive your monthly bill between the 1st and 5th of each month.

How can I pay my monthly bill?

We have a variety of different ways you can pay your Farmside bill. To simplify paying us each month, we recommend choosing one of our automatic payment options.

Automatic payment options

Automatic payments are easy to set up and even easier to manage. You don’t have to worry about making manual payments each month; you just need to ensure you have funds in your account on the day the payment is due.

  • Direct Debit or Credit/Debit Card – Payments will be deducted from your account or card automatically on the 15th of the month or the nearest business day. To set up a direct debit, visit www.myfarmside.co.nz/pay-bill. To set up an automatic credit/debit card payment, please contact us.
  • Billing Partner – You can charge your Farmside services to your Farmlands, Farm Source, PGG Wrightson or Ruralco supply account. If you already have a supply account and would like to charge your Farmside services to it, please contact us.

Manual payment options

Manual payments are due by the 15th of the month.

  • Credit/Debit Card – Visit www.myfarmside.co.nz/pay-bill to process a manual payment via credit or debit card.
  • Internet Banking/Direct Credit – Search for Baycity Communications Limited in your payee list. Please remember to enter your name into the particulars field and your Farmside customer number into the reference field.

When is my monthly bill due?

The 15th of each month if we bill you directly. If you pay via a billing partner, then it will be as per your agreement with them.

Where can I find my account number?

Your account number can be found on your monthly bill, in the top right hand corner.

I have changed my service but Farmside charge in advance. What can I expect my next invoice to look like?

On your next invoice you will see a credit for the previous service and the new charges for your new service.

Example: You changed your service on the 8th June and the normal billing cycle starts from the 1st of each month.

  • Part month charge: 8th June to 30th June. The days you were on the new service.
  • Part month credit: 8th June to 30th June. A refund for the in-advance payment you made for your previous service.
  • Full month charge: 1st July to 31st July. The charge for your new service – this is the normal service charge you will see in the future.

Where can I find copies of my invoices?

You can view and download your Farmside invoices from the MyFarmside portal – www.myfarmside.co.nz/invoice-history.

How can I change the email address my Farmside bill is sent to?

You can easily update your invoice email address via the ‘My Profile’ section on the MyFarmside customer portal – https://myfarmside.co.nz/my-profile

I have changed my plan, but Farmside charge in advance. What can I expect my next invoice to look like?

On your next invoice, you will see a credit for the full monthly charge of the previous plan and a full monthly charge of your new plan. For example: if you upgrade from the RBI 120GB to the RBI 200GB plan, we will credit back the full monthly charge for the 120GB plan and charge you the full monthly price of the new RBI 200GB plan.
