1. What equipment do I need to run Farmside wireless broadband?
It takes two small pieces of equipment to run Farmside wireless broadband. These need to installed by an approved installer:
- An antenna fixed to the outside of the building
- A small unit near the computer
2. What are the options with Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi provides the ability to provide wireless LAN capability and is different to wireless broadband. There is no need to rewire to receive wireless broadband throughout your home or office. Wi-Fi can extend the service to outlying buildings/hard to reach locations
3. Can I get voice services over wireless?
Yes, our Webline service will work over a wireless broadband connection.
4. What happens if I am not in the Wireless coverage area?
If you are unable to get wireless coverage then you can get connected with our satellite options.
