1. Does Farmside charge for local calls?
Local calls are free but dialling an area code in front of what should be a local call makes it a national call - and we have to charge for those!
2. Does Farmside offer capped calling?
No Farmside has chosen not to offer capped calling as we prefer to deliver a standard low rate regardless of how long a customer talks for. Often a customer makes a higher number of short calls, therefore our lower calling rates will help people save money with this usage pattern.
3. Is there peak and off peak calling rates?
No, Farmside toll rates are applicable at all times of the day and week.
4. Can I buy multiple Talk Packs?
A customer can purchase multiple talk packs but only 1 of each call grouping. (ie 1 national, 1 mobile and 1 international).
5. Will Farmside to Farmside customers within NZ be free calls like the Internet Phone Service?
No. Farmside may introduce this option into the future but it is not currently planned.
6. What if a customer is offered better rates by someone else?
We do our best to make sure that our rates are attractive but we can't guarantee that we'll always be the cheapest, but we will do our level best to give the customer a great deal overall. If a customer has a specific requirement then take down the details we will investigate what options we can offer them.
