3. Can I receive collect calls on Webline?

No.

4. Can I make 111 emergency calls over Webline?

Yes. As long as there is power to your broadband connection is active and you have power, you can make 111 calls.

5. If I dial 111 will my call be traceable to my location?

No. Similar to making a 111 call from a mobile phone, if you make a 111 call over Webline, the emergency operator will not be able to see your address. You will need to bear this in mind if you are thinking of relinquishing your landline phone service.

13. What will it cost my friends to call me on Webline?

This depends on the DID (Direct Inward Dialling) number allocated to the Webline Phone and where the caller is located. If you and your caller live within the same Webline regional geographic number zone (Whangarei, Auckland, Hamilton, Napier, Wellington, Christchurch or Dunedin), this is a free call. If the caller lives in a different zone, toll rates will apply. Check with your landline or mobile provider for the cost of calls to a Webline 028 number.
